There is nothing for miles around, just a flat landscape of gray sand in a featureless, black sky. A small lantern attached to the Wanderer's clothing provides a faint source of light. Day in and day out (if one could even consider a solar cycle to happen here), the Wanderer walks until, beset by fatigue, goes to sleep.
Dreams provide the only respite. In these dreams, characters and places reoccur, giving brief glimpses into who the Wanderer actually is, something that they themselves don't know.
