Hello everyone! I'm Rachel Goh, one of the native peoples of this beautiful nation! Having been born before the War (really showing my age with this one!), I have seen the huge changes that Singapore has been through, which is to be expected given that we now have two billion more people. Although many of the Newcomers' children born here have some knowledge, I find that those who immigrated here under MAJULAH know next to nothing about our humble little red dot, even after all these years. As such, I decided to put my (poor!) coding knowledge to educate these new Singaporeans.

Mechas
Okay, I'm including this section because I think having people completely uneducated on the growing mecha subculture here makes them more attracted to it because of the mystery of it all. But if you are on the fence of joining: don't. It just isn't worth it. First, consider how your actions are impacting other. These bouts often do property damage to the surrounding buildigs, meaning that resources that could be used to better our society or expand our land is now being used to repair a building that was previously perfectly fine. Also the noise that these things cause! It feels like if I'm ever Underground on a weekend night (DON'T DO THIS!! I really wish the government would CLEAN THE UNDERGROUND UP!!!!) all I hear is screams and scraping metal. Even if you lack any empathy for others, consider what can happen to yourself. Possessing a mecha is grounds for immediate exiling (and remember there is no more existing civilizations outside Singapore). We all remember when 250 people were exiled for participating on a raid to steal the government's mechas. As an aside, none of those people have been found during any of the extraction missions. Plus, the chances of you dying in a bout is HIGH: ¼ of contestants die! Even onlookers have a high chance at a stray bullet or metal severely injuring them.
Look, I get it. They are honestly very cool. But if you want to mess around a mecha, there are some government-approved ones you can use in Kallang. Alternatively, use it to benefit society by requesting to become an Adventurer, it's a pretty easy process and you get to do it AS YOUR JOB! As the final aside, it's just trashy. There's this one website floating around and to me it just really shows that there is no sense of self-respect amongst these people. To access it, you need to have a connection to the non-official internet network, which is pretty dangerous to go on and I wouldn't recommend getting it (I only have access because a friend of mine already has access to it).
